B&T Film › What does a corporate film cost?

It is not the running time that decides, but the effort behind it: shoot days, crew, concept, gear and post-production. Here is what sits behind the common film types — the quote we build for your specific project.

1–2 shoot days, company presentation, editing and music included. For small businesses that need a professional first impression.
Several shoot days, storyboard, interviews plus B-roll, sound design. For companies that want a film with a clear message and a longer shelf life — noticeably more effort.
Multi-day production, concept and direction, several locations, elaborate post-production. For international brands or productions with campaign ambitions (Garmin, STIHL) — the top end of the scale.

A brand film for a machine builder whose customers are spread across the globe has a very different job than a brand film for the inn down the street. The first needs high-speed footage, subtitles in several languages and trade-show-grade quality. The second needs atmosphere and honesty.

It depends on scope: a simple statement video is a far leaner production than a brand film with a concept and several shoot days, and elaborate corporate productions go up from there. The exact number comes down to what the film needs to accomplish — we'll name it after a short call.
Typically: an initial consultation and concept, shoot day(s) with camera, lighting and sound, editing, color grading, music licensing and delivery in the formats you need. Drone footage, voice-over and animation are add-ons that cost extra.
It comes down to the setup: a solo camera operator (including a Sony FX6 and a basic audio package) is leaner than a full ENG crew with camera plus sound. Shoot duration, extra gear and travel factor in as well. Equipment only, without an operator, costs less — just ask.
From first inquiry to final delivery, plan on 3–6 weeks: about a week for concept and planning, 1–2 shoot days, and 1–2 weeks for editing and approval. Need it faster (say, for a trade show)? That's possible — just ask.

We're neither the cheapest nor the most expensive option out there. We own our Sony Cinema Line and RED gear (no pricey third-party rentals), work with a set team and know the Upper Austria and Salzburg region inside out. That adds up to fair prices at a higher level of quality than a solo freelancer can deliver.
