Documentary & reportage · Ortner heat-storage stove

By stove-makers, for stove-makers.

A heat-storage stove is craft, physics and trust all at once. For Ortner we told how a core stone becomes a finished heat-storage stove – as a reportage with real voices, close to the people and the product.

The job of this film

Ortner makes the core stones that stove-makers use to build their heat-storage stoves. The subject is technical – heat storage, material, processing – and yet it lives through people.

The task was therefore not a commercial but a broadcast-level reportage: the journey from stone to stove, the craft, the innovation – and, at the heart of it, the (young) employees who carry the whole thing.

Documentary & reportage – craft and people at broadcast level

Products that need explaining and craft businesses are best told documentary-style: real voices, genuine processes, people at work. We produce reportages and corporate documentaries that show substance instead of claiming gloss – close, credible and in broadcast quality.
