The job of this film
A triathlon is one of the most demanding live productions there is – because everything here comes down to planning. The race stretches across the whole morning and across kilometers: mass start in the water, transition zone, a bike loop through the countryside, then the run into the stadium. Nothing can be repeated. Miss the decisive moment in the right place, and it's gone for good.
Our brief was clear: capture every single leg of the race. From the start all the way to the finish, down to the transition zones – from a boat on the water, from a car on the bike course, from the air with the drone. That means early mornings, timing down to the minute and airtight coordination: who stands where when the field comes through? And then the real ask – the finished film had to be ready the same day. That's exactly what we delivered.
